Share Only What You Want With New Itemized Sharing

You can now share each item in your Everplan separately instead of sharing the entire section.

What’s Changed

We are making some changes to our sharing permissions. Previously on Everplans, if you wanted to share a specific item, you needed to share the entire section. For example, if you wanted to share one of your IDs with a particular person, you had to share the entire ID section. Same with Financial Accounts, Devices, or any of the other sections.

But sometimes, you just need to share one thing with one person. For example, you might need to share your passport with a friend who's booking a flight for you or share your neighbor’s contact info with your babysitter.

Now you can do this securely and easily. You can manage permissions for each ID, car, financial account, or any item in your Everplan. In other words, you have greater control over who sees what. You can manage permissions for each item in your vault or each deputy from the My Deputies sections of the app.

Your existing deputy permissions are intact, and there are no changes to the sharing "after death" functionality.

Let Us Know What You Think

We hope this update makes it easier for you to share information with different people in your life. This is also a great time to review your deputy permissions. You might see something you want to share with someone new. You can try the new itemized sharing in our web and iOS app.

If you have any questions or feedback, let us know—we'd love to hear from you.
